Members of the public are invited to attend a Pre-Construction Open House on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Goderich Town Hall (Council Chambers). This will be an opportunity for residents, business owners and stakeholders to meet members of the Rebuilding Downtown Infrastructure Project team, including:

·       Lavis Contracting (Contractor)

·       GSP Group (Project Landscape Architect)

·       B. M. Ross and Associates (Town of Goderich’s Engineer)

·       Town of Goderich Staff

·       Construction Communications Liaison

·       Q & A with project team

·       Meet your primary point of contact for the construction season

Board Game Cafe

6:00 PM | 330 Main St. S., Exeter, ON

Join us at the Exeter Branch for Board Game Cafe - all ages are welcome. A variety of games will be available to try or if you have a game to introduce others to you are welcome to bring it along. Light refreshments will be provided. In partnership with the Cultural Collective. The 4th Wednesday of the month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This is a drop-in program, no registration is necessary

Badminton

6:30 PM | 92 Gidley Street East, Exeter ON

The badminton program takes place on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM from September 17th, 2025 to June 17th, 2026. The program is designed for participants ages 14 and over and takes place in the large gym at the South Huron District Highschool located at 92 Gidley Street East in Exeter. 

The cost per play is $3.00, please bring exact change.

Nets and birdies are provided, please bring your own racquet.

Four Week Yoga Program

6:30 PM | 158 Centre St, Dashwood

Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm, beginning March 25th from 6:30 - 7:30 PM for a four-week yoga program at the Dashwood Community Centre (158 Centre St, Dashwood).

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have lots of experience, everyone is welcome! Join us for a relaxing hour of stretching, movement, and mindfulness.

Cost: $40.00+HST

To register, please complete the Yoga Registration Form.  Completed forms may be emailed to communityservices@southhuron.ca.

All registration forms and payments must be received by 4:00 PM on Tuesday March 24th. Payment can be made at the South Huron Recreation Centre located at 94 Victoria St E, Exeter.  Payment can be made via cash, cheque or debit.
