Knitting Circle

5:45 PM | 392 Queen St., Blyth ON

Knit, relax and meet fellow knitters each week at the Blyth Branch.  All are welcome to drop into this free program to knit together and share tips and tricks. This is a casual, community-led gathering—not a staff-run program—so attendance may vary.

Not offered on the 4th Monday of the month.

This is a drop-in program for teens and adults. No registration is necessary.

Exeter Pool Public Swim

6:00 PM | 49 MacNaughton Drive, Exeter, ON

Cool off and enjoy an evening outdoor swim at the Exeter Pool from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Admission is $4.00 per swim, and children under 2 years of age swim free.

No pre-registration is required—simply drop in and enjoy a refreshing swim with family and friends.

Season passes are also available for purchase at the pool:

  • Family Pool Pass: $172.50
  • Individual Pool Pass: $101.00

Exeter Pool Aqua Fit

7:45 PM | 49 MacNaughton Drive Exeter, ON

Improve your fitness level while enjoying the water! Join us for a low intensity muscular endurance and cardiovascular workout Monday to Thursdays from 7:45 PM - 8:30 PM, Monday and Wednesdays 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM and Fridays from 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM. Your pool pass does not guarantee a spot in the class, pre registration is required. Please note, registration will open two weeks before the class date. 

Register for Aquafit Classes here. Classes are $5.00 per class.

Exeter Pool Masters Swim Team

Whether you're training for competition, building fitness, or simply love being in the water, The Exeter Orcas Masters Swim Team offers a supportive and motivating environment for adult swimmers of all levels. From former athletes to those new to lap swimming, we provide structured workouts, coaching, and a vibrant community that shares a passion for swimming.

Practices run every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:00-8:45am, beginning the week of June 30th and running until Thursday August 20th.  Practices will be tailored to meet a wide range of goals—fitness, technique, or just fun!  The cost or registration is $70.00 + HST per person.  To register, please complete the Exeter & District Swimming Pool Registration Form. Completed forms may be emailed to pools@southhuron.ca or dropped off at the Exeter Pool.

Tech Time

Join us at the Blyth Branch for Tech Time support to receive one-on-one help with library e-resources, your devices, and/or your email account.

Lessons are limited to the technical knowledge of library staff.

This is for participants that are 8 and older.

Youth Tennis Program - Ages 6 - 9 Years

9:45 AM | 145 Victoria St E, Exeter

Join us on the court this summer for our Youth Tennis Program! Sessions run on Tuesdays from June 30th to July 28th, with programs available for children ages 6–9 years (9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.) and ages 10–12 years (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.).

Through a variety of fun drills, interactive games, and introductory match play, participants will develop fundamental tennis skills including hand-eye coordination, movement, racquet control, and basic game strategies.

Designed for all skill levels, this program is ideal for both beginners and young players looking to improve their technique and confidence. Emphasis is placed on skill development, sportsmanship, and having fun in a supportive group setting!

This program takes place at the South Huron Multipurpose Courts located at 145 Victoria St E, Exeter. The cost of registration is $75.00.  To register please complete the Youth Tennis Program Registration Form. Completed forms can be sent to communityservices@southhuron.ca.

Tennis racquets will be available for participants who need access to one.

South Huron Strides

10:00 AM | 94 Victoria St E, Exeter

Start your Tuesdays with a refreshing guided walk along the scenic MacNaughton-Morrison Trail. This program is open to all fitness levels, making it a great way to stay active at your own pace.

Participants also have the option to try Urban Poling walking poles—an excellent way to add a gentle, full-body workout while improving stability and support.

Meet at MacNaughton Park at 10:00 AM.  This program runs Tuesdays from May 5th - September 29th, weather permitting.
