When moving to rural areas, immigrants face many challenges navigating and accessing health care systems. Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health's upcoming episode 3 of Season 5 of the virtual lecture series in partnership with the Huron County Immigration Partnership features co-presenters, Dr. Saleema Allan, assistant professor at the University of Western Ontario and Dr. Jennifer Dean, associate professor at the University of Waterloo and Registered Professional Planner. They will be exploring the topic of “Immigrant Health Care: Understanding & Addressing Barriers”.  

The lecture will take place on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, from 12 – 1 PM ET via ZOOM.
