Admission is FREE at both the Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol for International Museum Day!

The objective of International Museum Day (IMD) is to raise awareness about the fact that, “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.”

There will be optional activities in our exhibit spaces for families at both the museum and the gaol, and you can tour both sites for FREE.

Join us at the Huron County Museum for a drop-in chat with our Curator and sneak peek of developments in the new Industry Gallery 1 – 4 pm. Test your knowledge of the incredible items in our collection made & grown in Huron with Made in Huron County Trivia in the theatre at 1:30pm via Kahoot.
